Show Notes

On this bonus episode of Audioface, Dan and Sean take a look at the rise, fall, and uprise of Muse: one of the world's last stadium rock bands. Hear the stories behind Muse's most iconic records, and a special moment from the very first minutes of the first episode of Audioface with an early Muse review. Not only is this band central to alternative rock music in the 21st century, it's central to the friendship behind this podcast. Muse's next album "Will of the People" will be reviewed in an upcoming episode of Audioface.

#45 - J. Cole, Lord Huron, A Perfect Circle

On the forty-fifth episode of Audioface: New albums: J. Cole's "KOD", Lord Huron's "Vide Noir", and A Perfect Circle's "Eat The Elephant". Sean and Dan are back to break down a big week in music. SOPHIE and a member of the Horrors collab on a track, and Ariana Grande releases her first single since the Manchester terror attack. #Beychella happened. Vince Staples may have ended R. Kelly's career, while Kendrick Lamar may have the best rap career of all time. J. Cole has many opinions, and some rap fans are very angry about them. Guitar Center is going out of business, EDM star Avicii dies at 28, and Prince apparently didn't know he was taking the drug that killed him. Kanye plays Twitter like a fiddle to promote new albums from himself, Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, and Kids See Ghost -- a new duo of himself and Kid Cudi. Lord Huron's latest rock alternative LP was released this week, as well as hard rock (?) supergroup A Perfect Circle's first album in more than a decade. Dan revisits his stance on #FreeMeekMill. And one repetitive producer brings another repetitive producer out of retirement. Support independent music commentary at no charge!
